CEHD International Initiatives' International Faculty Residency Program supports faculty with placements at partner institutions abroad for short-term residencies, each tailored based on the needs of our global partners.

Giving matters: International student finds her footing

In 2023, for the first time in her life, Monyque Assis Suzano started living outside of her hometown. “I never had the financial stability to leave my house, but because of school scholarships, I was able to experience autonomy,” she says. Originally from Brazil, Suzano is now a second-year PhD student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, in the literacy education track.
